Moving Day for Bruce & Linda

I'm going to post these pictures for Bruce and Linda since they are little busy with the unpacking. Sorry Linda I hope that's okay. I just took a few pictures.

Lion House

Steele and I went to Temple Square on our way to pick Bridget up from the airport. We went to the Lion House and the Church History Museum. It was a fun afternoon. Bridget was coming home from the Ranch in Oregon that she spent with Aunt Ann and Paloma.

Braces

Steele got his braces put on today. He was sick with a cold yesterday and feel sorry for him having to get used to braces and then with a cold on top of it.

AeroGel

This week end Bo let me use her hairspray and I was amazed. I used that amazing stuff and my hair looked the same all day long as if I had just done my hair. That stuff is amazing. Even when walking in to the building at work at 5:55 a.m. and the canyon winds are blowing my hair still looks the same as when I left home. Needless to say as soon as I got back from Bo's I went to Peerless Beauty Supply store on Monday and bought it. I bought a case of it as it was half price buying it that way. So if anyone would like a can for half price let me know.

Sacramento

This past week end Don and I flew to Sacramento to spend time with Bo and Van, Ann and Charlie, Paul and Terrie, Paloma, Lauren and Rachel.

We had a great relaxing weekend even though I bugged the kids by calling them. They were excited that we were gone as we never leave them. I missed them even though they didn't miss me so they say.

Friday night Don and I went to dinner with Bo and Van, Ann and Charlie at the Del Passo Country Club. We ate from the buffet and I the Salmon Alfredo was wonderful. Charlie wanted to hurry home to watch the Olympics opening ceremony in his new home. Ann, Paloma and I enjoyed the hot tub while they watched the Olympics. Van taped it for us so we could watch it later. The hot tub was wonderful!!

Saturday morning we went to the Farmers Market where Ann and Bo got yummy fresh vegetables. My favorite were the white peaches. We took Ann home and then Bo, Don and I went shopping at the Rack ( my favorite place ) I got some work clothes and was successful in doing damage to my cc. Then in the afternoon we went to Paul and Terrie's in Elk Grove where we had yummy steaks after watching the Olympics again.

Sunday we slept in and came home in the afternoon. Perfect get away!

Bruce & Linda

Yesterday after work we went to Bruce & Linda's and took them lunch. Bridget and Steele and Mom came with. Nicole had to work. We helped Linda and Bruce do some unpacking. It's coming together very nice. It was fun to see the furniture in place that I helped her pick out. It looks great. It was so fun for my kids to have an aunt and uncle around and get to know them better. We will actually get to see them now. I made dinner for them last night and asked Bruce what he wanted. He said Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy & Peas. That's what he got. I even made some bread and we had Costco Cookies.
