Friday after the kids got home from school we packed two vans and drove to Rexburg, Idaho to surprise Nicole for the weekend. We went with our friends the Monroe's. Becca's birthday is the same day as Nicole and we wanted to celebrate both of their birthdays. Thanks to Amy and Becca for the suggestion. The girls drove in one car - Amy, Becky, Becca, Bridget, Katie (Bridget's friend) and the boys in the other -- Don, Ray, Steele and Neil. We got their at 7:30 p.m. We had Katie (since Nicole has never met Katie) go into the dorm lounge and ask for Nicole. She told Nicole she had a present in the car and to go to the parking lot. She came out side and when she saw our cars she started screaming. She was sooo excited to see us.
We stayed at the Best Western Hotel in Rexburg close to campus. Becca stayed with Nicole at her dorm room. Ray, Amy, Don and I played Rage when we had the time. The hotel had a pool which Bridget, Katie, Steele and Neil used last night. We went bowling, walked around campus and froze. It's cold there. We were very glad to get back to 40 degree weather.
We went to church with Nicole this morning and then drove home. It was a very relaxing week end and I am so glad that we took the time to make some good memories.
I didn't take any pictures as I forgot my camera but Becca and Nicole took some so as soon as I get them I will post them here.

Toby's New Haircut
Steele and I gave Toby a good hair cut. He was starting to get matted hair so had to cut it pretty short. He looks like a rat.

I made the last two for Lynnette as she is so busy and I love sewing that I love serving others. They turned out sooo cute!!
Steele Got Glasses
Well Steele has taken after me. He is near sighted and needs glasses for far away.

Debi - Miracle Worker
Cuteness!! As Nicole would say!!
Debi working her magic.
Nicole and I were searching for the perfect dress for our New Years Celebration and we found this dress and loved it but new we wanted it to be modest. We found it on the clearance rack at Kohl's so we bought two and perfect timing as Debi was coming into town. She converted the two dresses into one great dress. Doesn't Nicole look great!!
