Spring Break!
This week has been Steele and Bridget's spring break. Since I have to work we haven't gone any where exciting. We did meet Sue, Gene, Mary, Lynnette, Bruce and Linda at the Blue Lemon and had lunch on Wednesday and then went swimming afterwards and watched a movie with Lynnette. It was SNOWING so was fun to watch the snow while swimming. Steele did a snow angel in the snow and ran into the hot tub.
Yesterday I had an appointment with a Jaw specialist in downtown Salt Lake City. I took Bridget and Steele with me and they sat in the waiting room, Bridget did homework and Steele played a game on his DS. My appointment went well and I have lots of problems with the jaw which is causing my headaches. He is going to make a stint for me to wear at night and go to physical therapy. It costs as much as braces but if it helps it's well worth it. I have bone loss in the jaw. He has me taking a bunch of supplements to help. Anyway I hope I get some relief.
After the appointment we went to the Conference Center and saw Casey's painting along with the other 199 contestants. After looking all the works we walked around Temple Square and then to the Lion House for Linner (Lunch + Dinner). We ran back to the car to be on the road by 4. I didn't want to get stuck in traffic. We got a ton of snow yesterday but SLC didn't get any.
Today we'll go to the dollar movie.
Monday night we had FHE with Jared, Jason, Lara, Rachel, Gene, Mary, Sue, Lynnette and Grandma. It was fun evening with dinner, game and Spiritual Thoughts by everyone!!
It has been cold this week and is supposed to warm back up to the 60's this week end. Yeah!! We are so ready for Spring. Steele and I have been gardening. We planted peas which haven't come up yet and cauliflower and cabbage. I had our trees pruned and the last globe willow taken out.
Well that's the kids' SPRING BREAK!!!

Visitors
This past week we hosted Debi, Landon, Quinn, Lisa and Cody. We had a great time with them and was so glad we made room for them. Lisa and the babes took Steele's room and Debi had Nicole's room and Cody slept on Grandma's couch.
Cody went into the MTC on Wednesday morning.
We were on the go the whole time. We went to Savers, Costco, DI, Blue Lemon, Just Sew. I made a turkey dinner for Tuesday night before Cody went into the MTC. We made big sugar cookies and decorated them to send to Ryan and Cody. Debi helped me with a couple of bindings on two quilts that I just finished.
Lisa took pictures of all the kids. Thanks Lisa!!
Nicole came home for the weekend. It was fun to have her home. She slept on the couch and is getting ready for the Meso America Tour. She has one more week of school and then she is done with her 2nd year of college. Yeah!!!
We enjoyed watching conference!!

Senioritis
Bridget has senioritis and made a chain of how many days are left of school. She informed me that there are links not show and so LOTS of days left of school
